Alex Muir is an Executive Director with over 20 years of international experience in procurement, supply chain, and major capital infrastructure programs. Currently, Alex works as an advisor in procurement, sustainability, and transformation, primarily in the Green Energy and Energy Transition sectors. Previously, Alex served as Chief Procurement Officer for BP's Downstream business, where they transformed procurement functions into strategic assets and implemented best-in-class digital and sustainability infrastructure. Additionally, Alex has held roles at companies such as United Biscuits, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., KPMG, and EY, honing expertise in financial control and performance management. Alex is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Business/Managerial Economics and Management Science at Loughborough University.
