Alex Roy

Alex Roy is currently the Director of Regulatory Policy at EY, a position held since 2022. Previously, Alex held various roles at the Financial Conduct Authority from 2014 to 2016, including Manager of Pensions and Investments and Head of Consumer Distribution Policy. Prior to that, Alex served as Head of Development and Research and Research Manager at the Legal Services Board between 2009 and 2014, and held the role of Assistant Director, Distribution Reform at the Association of British Insurers from 2006 to 2009. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Wales, Swansea, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
