Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transport strategy and project finance. Currently serving as a Director at EY since October 2023, Amit previously held the position of Senior Manager at PwC Middle East, focusing on aviation and transport from November 2022 to October 2023. Prior to that, Amit was an Associate Director at KPMG India, specializing in transport infrastructure strategy for aviation and railways from August 2019 to November 2022. Amit's earlier roles include Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where the focus was on strategy within the aviation and railways sectors, and Senior Consultant at PwC India, providing advisory services in infrastructure. Amit began a career in project financing at Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited and also worked at the State Bank of India in corporate banking. Amit holds a PGDBF in Banking and Finance from the National Institute of Bank Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from Banaras Hindu University.
