Amy Ritz is a Managing Director at Ernst & Young LLP, where they focus on advising corporate clients on utilizing federal tax attributes to offset income. Since 2001, they have led the firm’s west coast Section 382 practice and have been the leader of the National Section 382 practice since 2008. Amy's expertise includes consolidated return issues and the federal corporate income tax consequences of various transactions, encompassing bankruptcy, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. They hold a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Business Law from Penn State University.
