Andy Bates is an experienced financial services audit leader at Ernst & Young, where they have served as a Partner since 2008 and held various leadership roles, including Financial Services Africa Leader and EMEIA FSO Extended Assurance Leader. They are currently a Finance Trustee for The Irene Taylor Trust, a position they began in 2025. Andy was also a Founding Trustee of the EY Foundation from 2014 to 2015. They earned a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge between 1991 and 1994.
