Arne Smeets

Arne Smeets is a Partner in International Tax & Transaction Services at EY, where they have been instrumental in leading the Belgian tax desk in New York since 2013. With previous experience heading the Belgian tax desk and working within the Global Tax Desk Network, Arne has developed a comprehensive understanding of cross-border transactions and international tax legislation. Prior to joining EY, they spent four years as a Corporate Tax Manager at Johnson Controls and held various roles within Ernst & Young, where they cultivated a strong foundation in corporate tax consultancy. Arne holds a degree from Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel.
