Austin Dail

Austin Dail is a Senior Manager in Indirect Tax at EY, based in Houston, Texas. Previously, Austin served as ExxonMobil's Senior State Tax Controversy Attorney, handling state income and franchise tax audits, appeals, and litigation. Austin has represented clients nationwide in significant tax disputes and has negotiated favorable settlements with state and local jurisdictions. With experience as a judicial extern for the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States District Court, Austin has lectured on U.S. state and local taxation at the University of Oklahoma and presented at Tax Executives Institute conferences in both the U.S. and Europe. Austin holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
