Benedict Reid

Benedict Reid is a Partner in the EY Insurance team, where significant leadership is provided to the UK Specialty insurance practice, serving a diverse portfolio of over 100 managing agents, market firms, and intermediaries in the London and global (re)insurance markets since February 2005. Previous roles at EY include Associate Partner, leading the Insurance Brexit capability, and Director, focusing on Business Development and account management with global underwriters and brokers. In 2015-2016, Benedict served as the Interim Chief Executive of the London Market Group, enhancing growth and modernization for the £60bn London Insurance Market. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Private Office for Anne McIntosh MP. Benedict holds a MA in History from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2003.
