Bill Rys

Bill Rys is currently a Managing Director at EY, a position held since 2025. Previously, they worked at The Hartford as the Head of Federal Government Relations and Political Engagement from 2023 to 2025 and served as Managing Director and Head of Federal Government Affairs at Citi from 2013 to 2023. Bill has also held various roles in government relations, including Deputy Executive Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 2007 and Tax Counsel at the National Federation of Independent Business from 2007 to 2011. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Juniata College, a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Tax Law/Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
