Brian Gelfand

Brian Gelfand is the Digital Assets and Financial Markets Infrastructure Lead at EY, where they help crypto natives and traditional financial institutions navigate the intersection of digital assets and traditional market ecosystems. With a 25-year background in markets and post-trade services, Gelfand has held significant roles, including Special Advisor to the Secretary General at IOSCO and Chief Commercial Officer at TMX Group. They have extensive experience in strategy development, regulatory affairs, and business development, alongside a proven track record in managing high-performance teams and fostering global relationships. Gelfand is currently pursuing multiple degrees in law and economics at McGill University and holds a master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
