Carmen Spiridon

Carmen Spiridon has over 19 years of experience at EY, serving as Senior Manager since September 2004 and as Associate Partner since October 2018. Carmen's portfolio encompasses multinational and local companies across diverse sectors, including retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, industrial products, construction materials, automotive, and technology media & advertising. Areas of expertise include testing internal controls and processes under Sarbanes-Oxley, auditing and preparing financial statements under various accounting frameworks such as local GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, and German GAAP, and coordinating reports for mergers and acquisitions as well as restructuring projects. Carmen is also involved in advising on financial reporting initiatives and change programs. Carmen holds a degree in Accounting and Management of Information Systems from Academia de Studii Economice din București, earned between 2000 and 2004.
