Carolyn Wright

Carolyn Wright is a Tax Technical Writer/Editor at Ernst & Young, where they have been an Assistant Director since 2003, focusing on writing and editing tax technical information for the National Tax Department in Washington. In 2023, they took on the role of Associate Director and serve as the EY Global Tax Alerts Editor. Previously, Carolyn worked as an Editor for The Exempt Organization Tax Review at Tax Analysts from 1993 to 2002 and as the Director of Legal Research at The American Institute of Architects from 1988 to 1993. Carolyn holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Doctor of Law from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland College Park.
