Charles Edgar

Charles Edgar is currently the Associate General Counsel at EY and previously served as Counsel to the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2018. They have held various positions at the DOJ, including Trial Attorney and Assistant Chief of the Criminal Enforcement Section for the Southern Region. Charles began their legal career as a Judge Advocate in the US Army from 2005 to 2008 and later served as a Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island from 2008 to 2009. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley University, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Roger Williams University School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center.
