Chris Tarling

Chris Tarling, Ph.D., CPA, CBV, FRM, is a Partner at EY, where they lead the Complex Securities valuation practice in Western Canada. They specialize in the valuation of various derivative financial instruments for diverse clients, including public companies and government entities. Prior to their current role, Chris held positions at EY as a manager in assurance and valuation services, and they also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Lignol Innovations Ltd and a Research Associate at the University of British Columbia. Chris has an extensive academic background, holding degrees in Chemistry and multiple professional designations in business valuation and financial risk management.
