Cody Buchenauer

Cody Buchenauer, CPA, CA, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor Teaching Stream at the University of Waterloo and holds the position of Senior Manager at EY. Previously, Cody worked as a Tax Manager and Senior Manager at EY Private from 2017 to 2021, following roles as a Staff Accountant and Assurance at Ernst & Young from 2014 to 2017. Cody's academic contributions include positions as a Sessional Lecturer and Senior Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant in various courses from 2014 to 2015. They earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Waterloo. Cody also has experience as a CrossFit Coach from 2011 to 2016 and has volunteered as a Strength & Conditioning Coach.
