Daniel Baer

Daniel Baer, FCPA, is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in accounting and assurance services. Currently, they serve as a Partner and Canadian Assurance Consumer Products and Retail Leader at EY, where they provide advisory services in financial forecasting and budgeting to various clients, including medium-sized owner-managed and public companies. In addition to their role at EY, Daniel is the co-director of the Quebec Entrepreneur Of The Year Program and holds significant positions on the boards of the McCord Museum and the Montreal General Hospital Foundation. Daniel has participated as an Advisory Board member for the David Sobey Centre for Innovation in Retailing and Services and is a frequent speaker on retail topics, including Ernst & Young’s various sales forecasts. Their academic background includes ongoing studies in Accounting at McGill University and completion of the Harvard Leadership Program in 2017.
