David Burton

David Burton is a seasoned professional in the field of capital optimisation, currently serving as a Partner and Executive Director at EY since September 2003. In this role, David leads the UK capital optimisation team, addressing various client needs such as intra-group reinsurance, matching adjustment, and asset structuring, while also collaborating with clients across Europe and Bermuda. Prior to EY, David held multiple significant roles at Pearl Assurance and AMP from 1992 to 2003, contributing as a member of the product actuarial team and undertaking key positions such as Head of Unit Trusts and Head of Annuities. David holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a BSc in M.O.R.S.E from the University of Warwick.
