David McHugh

David McHugh is a Senior Tax Manager with over 12 years of experience in tax across three global professional services firms. They began their career at PwC, where they worked in the corporation tax department for nearly seven years, focusing on tax compliance and consulting while completing their chartered accountancy and chartered tax exams. In 2012, they joined Allen & Overy as an international tax consultant, eventually being promoted to manager and earning recognition for their contributions, including involvement in the Corporate Responsibility committee. Since 2023, David has served as a Director at EY, advising on private equity and corporate transactions, among other international tax issues. They hold a Master of Science in Mathematics from Queen's University Belfast.
