David Rooney

David Rooney is a Partner at EY, specializing in transformational global mobility management with over 30 years of experience in corporate HR roles within the services industry and Big 4 mobility consultancy. Previously, David served as an Executive Director in People Advisory Services at EY, leading mobility transformation initiatives across EMEIA. At PwC, David held dual roles as Director of International Assignment Services and Director of Human Resource Services, where they managed expatriate programs and transformation projects. Earlier in their career, David was the Corporate Global Head of International Mobility at Accenture, overseeing a substantial assignee population and leading policy development. David earned a Master’s degree in Modern Languages from the University of St Andrews and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde.
