Derek Blatchley

Derek Blatchley, CPA, is currently an FSO Tax Senior Manager at EY, where they have progressed since 2021 after previously serving as an FSO Tax Manager. They began their accounting career as a Junior Accountant at Gentile, Pismeny, and Brengel LLP from 2010 to 2014, before advancing to a Senior Accountant role at Gentile Brengel & Lin LLP and taking on Tax Supervisor responsibilities. Earlier in their career at EY from 2014 to 2016, they focused on real estate tax, preparing a variety of tax returns and assisting in recruitment events. Derek holds an M.B.A. in Accounting from Adelphi University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, and Economics from Stony Brook University.
