Dr. Lance Mortlock

Dr. Lance Mortlock is a seasoned executive and academic specializing in the energy and strategy sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Partner for Industrials & Energy at EY since December 2010, Lance has extensive experience leading the energy and resources market segment in Canada, encompassing oil and gas, power and utilities, and mining. In addition to executive roles at EY, including Senior Strategy Partner and Canadian Oil & Gas Industry Leader, Lance contributes to academia as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Visiting Professor at the Haskayne School of Business. With a robust educational background, including a Doctor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Haskayne, and participation in prestigious programs at MIT, INSEAD, and Stanford, Lance combines practical experience with academic insights. Additionally, Lance serves on advisory boards for CEOWORLD magazine and the Canadian Energy and Climate Nexus, and has a history of board membership with Lycée Louis Pasteur. Prior experience includes a decade as a Strategy Senior Manager at Accenture.
