Ella Weaks

Ella Weaks is an experienced professional currently serving as a Tax Associate at EY within the People Advisory Services team, starting in September 2024. As a trustee for the Maurice Fry Charitable Trust since March 2023, Ella conducts research on charities and proposes grants to fellow trustees. Previous roles include a barmaid at The Chancery from October 2020 to July 2024 and involvement with the Nottingham Economics and Finance Society in the Global Economy Division from September 2021 to June 2024. Ella has also completed internships at EY, including a summer internship in 2023 and a spring insight program in 2022, as well as a climate action sustainable micro-internship with Universitas 21. Ella holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Nottingham, expected in July 2024, and has an educational background including Kings Education London and Trinity School of John Whitgift.
