Eric Simmons

Eric Simmons is a Partner in Assurance at EY Canada, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the extractives and utilities industries. They have a strong background in IFRS, US GAAP, and SEC reporting, and have handled large M&A transactions while contributing to global accounting standard-setting. Eric previously served as a Manager in the Mining & Metals Industry Group at Ernst & Young, and later as Senior Manager in the Energy Sector. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University, which they completed in 2007.
