Ervin Hamzic

Ervin Hamzic is a cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior in IT Application Management at EY since November 2020. Previously, Ervin completed an internship as a Security Engineer at itrust consulting s. à r. l. from December 2019 to February 2020, focusing on enhancing a machine learning-based network intrusion detection system. Prior to that, Ervin worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Luxembourg from July 2019 to December 2019, where responsibilities included deploying a testbed and simulating security attacks on vehicular networks. Ervin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, along with a student exchange experience at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
