Hemant Agarwal

Hemant Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant with experience in various financial roles. Hemant worked as a Consultant at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP from June 2021 to April 2022, where responsibilities included the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS standards. Prior to that, Hemant served as an Article Assistant at Rajan Chhabra & Co from June 2016 to June 2018, focusing on statutory audits for manufacturing companies, and later advanced to Associate, providing accounting services. At Devyani International Limited, from November 2019 to May 2021, Hemant played a key role in the implementation of Ind AS, specifically for leases impacting 700 stores of KFC, Pizzahut, and Costa Coffee. Hemant further enhanced expertise as a Senior Consultant and then Assistant Manager at EY from April 2022 to September 2023, and gained initial experience in banking audit during an earlier role as an Article Assistant at M.M.
