Houssame Achouri is a Partner in Indirect Tax at EY, with over 17 years of experience as an Indirect tax advisor. Houssame has worked on numerous international engagements across various industries, providing global consulting and compliance advice, and has played a critical role in VAT implementation in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Since moving to Dubai in 2017, Houssame has focused on sales activation of domestic VAT compliance in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and is dedicated to transforming tax functions in the digital era. Houssame has also led efforts in process, quality, and operations within the EY EMEIA Tax Center, while being an active presenter at seminars on international VAT matters.
