Ian Edwards

Ian Edwards is a Tax Partner at EY, leading a team of 80 tax professionals in Belfast and specializing in tax compliance and consultancy for indigenous and multinational companies. They began their career as a Component Engineer at Nortel Networks from 2000 to 2001, later serving as a Senior Manager at PwC for a decade, where they gained expertise in corporate tax and led various teams. Ian is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Ireland, as well as a chartered tax advisor. They are also a trustee for Positive Futures, a charity supporting individuals with learning disabilities, and have held leadership roles in the JCI UK organization. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ulster, which they completed in 2002.
