Ian Lomas is an Audit Partner and the leader of the Insurance team at EY in the Cayman Islands. With over 28 years of experience in the accounting and finance sectors across the Cayman Islands, US, and UK, Ian began their career at EY in the UK before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 1995. They spent 11 years in the Cayman captive insurance industry and previously served as the lead insurance partner at a Cayman mid-tier public accounting firm, where they expanded the client base significantly. Since re-joining EY in 2015, Ian has been leveraging global insurance knowledge combined with local expertise to lead their Cayman-based team effectively. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The University of Birmingham.
