Ian Sherman, FCPA, FCA, ICD.D, began a career in accounting at Peat Marwick from 1982 to 1987 as an articling student, staff accountant, and tax specialist. From 1987 to 1996, Ian held the position of Ottawa Franchise Territorial Rights Holder at Saint Cinammon Bake Shoppes. Ian continued to develop expertise at EY, where roles included consultant, tax partner, and EY Ottawa Tax Practice Market Leader until June 2021. Since July 2021, Ian has been the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Relationship Capital Inc. Ian holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science from the University of Ottawa and completed a commerce program at the University of Toronto.
