Jacques Verschaffel

Jacques Verschaffel is a Partner within the Luxembourg indirect tax practice of EY, where they oversee Luxembourg VAT compliance engagements and liaise with the Luxembourg VAT authorities. Previously, Jacques served as a Senior Manager at E&Y from 1996 to 2007, accumulating extensive experience in VAT analysis for holding and financing companies. They are the co-author of several publications on VAT, including “VAT Package – New VAT rules for 2010” and “Pratique de la TVA au Luxembourg,” and are recognized as a tax advisor by the IEC. Jacques is fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
