Jan Slager

Jan Slager is a Partner FSO at EY, with extensive experience in the financial audit of financial institutions, including pension funds, banks, and insurance companies. They spent two years seconded to Ernst & Young London, where they worked on the audit of major insurance companies. Jan began their career as an Accountant at Ernst & Young Leeuwarden from 2004 to 2009, later advancing to the role of Manager in London until 2011. They have held their current position since 2017 and previously served as a Senior Manager FSO. Jan earned a Postdoctoraal in Accountancy and a Doctoraal in Economische wetenschappen from the University of Groningen, as well as a Postdoctoraal in Operational Auditing from the University of Amsterdam.
