Jared Ortego

Jared Ortego, CISSP, is a Cyber Security Consultant with extensive experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT), attack surface monitoring, and penetration testing, applied across healthcare, banking, and military sectors. Jared has held roles such as Threat Engagement Manager at Secureworks and IS Security Operations at Ochsner Health, and currently serves as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant at EY. Additionally, Jared is pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security Studies with a concentration in Cybersecurity at Tulane University, following a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Outside of professional duties, Jared enjoys participating in cybersecurity CTF competitions, exploring Linux, and engaging with strategy games that enhance problem-solving skills.
