Jeff Soar

Jeff Soar is an accomplished tax lawyer with a diverse background in the legal and professional services sectors. Beginning at Kendall Freeman from August 2001 to April 2005, Jeff served as an Associate, initially part of the tax team and later the sole tax lawyer, advising on tax aspects of insurance transactions and startups. Currently, Jeff is a Partner and Global Law Leader at EY, where leadership spans the UK FS Tax practice and previous oversight of the insurance tax practice across EMEIA, with a focus on the non-life insurance market, especially within the Lloyd's and London Markets. Jeff also has experience as a Managing Partner for Tax and Law in the UK and Ireland. Educational credentials include a Law Practice Course from the College of Law, Guildford (1997-1998) and a degree in Accountancy and Law from the University of Southampton (1994-1997).
