Jim Leise

Jim Leise is a seasoned actuary, innovator, and leader with over thirty years of experience in leadership and actuarial roles. They began their career as a mathematics teacher at Pierce College before serving as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Jim held significant positions, including Chief Actuary at R. F. Mattei & Associates and Vice President at USAA, where they focused on strategic improvements and actuarial management. Currently, Jim is semi-retired while continuing to contribute their expertise at USAA. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
