Joan Schumaker

Joan Schumaker is a retired partner at Ernst & Young LLP, where they served as the Americas Director of Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services within the National Tax Department. With over 23 years of tax accounting and reporting experience, Joan advised clients across various industries on complex tax accounting issues to minimize risk. Previously, they held the position of Tax Director at AT&T Corp. and worked with prestigious firms such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and FASB. Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing further education, including a Master of Business Administration in Taxation from New York University.
