Joel Burnham

Joel Burnham is the Director of EMEIA Tax Enablement at EY, where they enable technology solutions across the EY EMEIA Tax practice in 98 countries. They began their career at Honeywell Bull as a Graduate Trainee before joining Ernst & Young in 1993, where they have held multiple leadership roles, including Project Leader for a Data Warehouse Project and Head of Tax Technology. Joel holds a BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computing from Newcastle University and an MSc in Computing Applications in Management Systems from Cranfield University. Since 2014, they have focused on driving technology adoption and aligning it with business strategies within the EMEIA Tax practice.
