Joel Gilbey

Joel Gilbey is currently the Director of Capital Investment Advisory Services at EY in Stockholm, specializing in Nordic cost segregation and R&D tax incentives. With qualifications in MRICS and ATT, they provide specialist taxation advice primarily in real estate, renewable energy, engineering, and life sciences sectors. Joel began their career as a quantity surveyor and has held various roles at EY, focusing on capital allowances and tax benefits. Their prior experience includes serving as a Business Improvement Leader at ClydeUnion Pumps and a Quantity Surveyor at Martin Arnold Associates LLP. Joel holds an MSc in Quantity Surveying from London South Bank University and degrees in International Relations and Italian from The University of Kent and Università degli Studi di Torino.
