John Hodge

John Hodge is a retired assurance partner at EY, bringing over 20 years of audit experience to their career. They served as an assurance partner at Ernst & Young from 1997, contributing to various senior roles, including managing partner for the Christchurch office and a member of the New Zealand audit executive. Prior to that, Hodge worked as an auditor at EY from 1986 to 1997, where they were responsible for key audit decisions and provided IFRS and technical advice to clients. Hodge holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Auckland, completed in 1986, and is currently self-employed after retiring in 2024.
