John King

John King is the current EY Americas Vice Chair, Assurance. Prior to this role, John served as the Southwest Region Assurance Managing Partner from 2016-2019, leading a team of 1,400 Assurance professionals across nine states and 14 cities. From 2003-2016, John was an Audit Partner at EY, serving audit clients and holding leadership roles within Assurance including Gulf Coast Region Controls and Methodology Leader and Southwest Region IFRS Leader. John started their career at Arthur Andersen in 1992, where they held various positions over the next 10 years.

John King attended the University of Houston and earned their degree from the C.T. Bauer College of Business. John is certified as a public accountant in both New York and Texas.
