Karl Dominguez

Karl Dominguez is a seasoned Cybersecurity Manager currently serving as a Security Consultant at EY, where they lead a team in Cyber Threat Management, Detection, and Response. They began their career as a Threat Research Engineer at Trend Micro from 2008 to 2012, before progressing through various roles including Malware Researcher at Asurion, Security and Malware Research Engineer at zvelo, Inc., and SOC Manager at IBM. Karl has developed expertise in incident response, security operations, and malware analysis, contributing to the establishment of EY's global Incident Response hub. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bulacan State University and have completed a program in Japanese Language and Literature at the University of the Philippines.
