Kerry Kleinhans is currently the Africa Head of Legal at EY, where they have been since 2017. With 22 years of experience managing legal and compliance teams, they previously held positions including Head of Legal Africa at Atlas Mara Ltd. and Head of Legal Africa, Turkey, and Israel at Citibank. Earlier in their career, Kerry served as Head of Legal and Compliance at FirstRand group and as Head Legal Counsel Banking at COPEX. Kerry obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and furthered their education with a diploma in Law from the University of Pretoria and a certificate in Compliance from the University of Johannesburg.
