Kya Demeter

Kya DeMeter is an emerging professional in the field of accounting, currently serving as a Tax Staff at EY since July 2024, following a Tax Intern position with the same company in summer 2023. Kya has gained valuable experience through various internships, including an Accounting Internship at Miles-McClellan Construction Co., Inc., where assistance was provided in accounts payable/receivable and reporting. Kya also held roles as an Accounting Teaching Assistant and Supervisor at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, supporting students in multiple accounting courses. In addition to academic contributions, Kya has been actively involved with Kappa Kappa Gamma, undertaking leadership positions such as Recruitment IT Director and Risk Management Director. Earlier work experience includes managing operations at Belmont Hills Country Club and serving as a Cashier/Stock Clerk at Packer's Orchard. Kya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from The Ohio State University and has pursued further education at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
