Laura Austin

Laura Austin, CFA, is currently a Manager in Consulting at EY, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as Lead Policy Analyst at the Bank of England from 2023 to 2025 and as a Senior Analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from 2020 to 2023. At the Reserve Bank, Laura contributed to financial markets and economics policy projects and monitored critical payments and settlements infrastructures. Earlier in their career, Laura held roles at EY as a Senior Tax Consultant and Tax Consultant, and also gained experience as a Resident Assistant and Receptionist at The Women's College, University of Sydney, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Canterbury. Laura earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Sydney between 2014 and 2016.
