Liam MacKenzie

Liam Mackenzie is a seasoned professional in the field of credit risk and quantitative risk management, currently serving as Director at EY since June 2017, where leadership of the UK CreditLab focuses on credit risk transformation and advanced credit analytics. Prior experience includes significant roles at Barclays, where Liam was Vice-President in both the Quantitative Risk and Counterparty Risk Management teams, overseeing model risk audits and exposure simulation methodologies, respectively. Earlier positions at EY involved managing global operational risk model projects, and prior to that, work as a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde contributed to the development of inspection robots for industrial applications. Liam's technical foundation is supported by an MEng (Distinction) and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
