Luis Cañal

Luis Cañal began their professional career at EY in 2006, where they have since audited significant companies across various sectors in Spain. They participated in an 18-month secondment in the UK in 2011, focusing on IFRS and gaining experience in the Aerospace and Defence sector. Currently, as a Senior Manager in the Madrid office, they are involved in EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services and the IFRS Desk, supporting the implementation of new accounting standards. Additionally, Luis is a member of the Accounting Principles and Standards Committee at AECA since 2023.
