Maikel Evers

Maikel Evers is an accomplished international and European tax lawyer, currently serving as a partner and leader of EY's EU Tax Policy Hub. They previously held positions as a PhD researcher and lecturer at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam and worked as a policy advisor for the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, where they contributed to multilateral tax policy meetings and treaty negotiations. Maikel has also served as a counsellor at the OECD, coordinating the BEPS Project and advising on tax and development initiatives. They hold an LL.M in Tax Law from the University of Groningen and a Post-Master's degree in European Tax Law from Erasmus School of Law.
