Malcolm Roods

Malcolm Roods is a Senior Manager in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY in South Africa, where they oversee ESG Due Diligence and manage sustainability tasks for retainer clients. With over 17 years of experience in environmental consulting and six years in the public sector, Malcolm is skilled in navigating both policy and business perspectives. They hold degrees in Environmental Management and Law from North West University and UNISA, and are registered with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners’ Association of South Africa. Previously, Malcolm worked as an Environmental Specialist at Royal HaskoningDHV and as an Assistant Director for the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Outside of work, Malcolm enjoys running, mountain biking, and training for triathlons.
