Mandy Downes

Mandy Downes is an accomplished professional with over 27 years of experience in the services industry, including 18 years focused on auditing complex public and commercial organizations in the UK and Australia. Mandy transitioned into a national talent role in 2016 to enhance the learning culture within EY and subsequently joined EY’s Global organisation in 2021 to work with the Global Assurance leadership team. Known for fostering relationships and achieving results under pressure, Mandy has held several key roles within EY, including Global Assurance Executive and UK & Ireland Assurance Learning Leader. Additionally, Mandy is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Australia, holding a BSc in Accounting and Economics from the University of Southampton. In their personal time, Mandy enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors with family and pets.
