Manuel Solano

EY Regional Managing Partner, Latin America North at EY

Manuel has more than 30 years of experience working on global teams in international consulting and tax planning.

He served as a leader in the Tax and Legal practices of EY Latin America. He advises prominent multinational companies about the tax and legal implications of cross-border acquisitions and the establishment of operations in Latin America.

He has a BS from Youngstown State University and received his JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He studied Finance and Economics at the Universidad Autónoma de Centro America.

Manuel is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar.

He is the coauthor of several publications, including the Tax Management Portfolio Doing Business book series for Venezuela and Mexico. He is regularly published as a commentator in Tax Notes International and is a frequent contributor to the Journal of International Taxation.
