Mari Murata

Mari Murata is an accomplished tax and accounting professional with extensive experience in international tax services, particularly in the fund, real estate, private equity, and digital media sectors. Since May 2017, Mari has held various leadership roles at EY, including Partner and Director, focusing on complex tax matters related to the Tokyo Olympic projects. Prior to EY, Mari served as Vice President and Head of Fund Accounting at Invesco, managing fund accounting teams and tax structuring for various jurisdictions. Additional experience includes managing accounting and tax policy at Netflix, as well as key accounting roles at AIG Global Real Estate and KPMG. Mari began a career as a System Consultant after earning a degree in Finance and Accounting from Chuo University.
